Voyance

A kitchen in Pickering for clients who cook and entertain, and who wanted the industrial character of the old room kept. The custom metal hood is the centrepiece. The island is rift-cut white oak with a walnut finish, the backsplash is handmade zellige tile, and the floor is a matte porcelain chosen for its wear. A magic corner in the base cabinets and a drawer in the toe kick take the space that is typically wasted, which gave them significantly more storage than before. The palette runs to earth tones and neutrals, Benjamin Moore Wind's Breath among them.
