Nathalia Hara, principal designer of One Group Design + Build

Nathalia Hara is co-founder and principal designer of One Group Design + Build, which designs and builds houses across the Greater Toronto Area from Markham, Ontario. NKBA Ontario named her Best New Designer in 2025.

She founded the firm in June 2019, after teaching herself 3D rendering. She finished her Bachelor of Interior Design at Yorkville University in December 2024, while running the firm. The program is CIDA-accredited.

Her houses have appeared in the Toronto Sun, Style at Home and Reno + Decor. She has presented on the Main Stage at the Toronto Fall Home Show. Her drawings, the interiors, the millwork and the construction sit on one contract. She moved to Canada from Brazil in 2017, and lives and works in Markham, Ontario, with her husband, Thiago Hara, who runs the firm’s construction, and their two daughters, Hana and Helena.
