Thiago Hara is co-founder and operations director of One Group Design + Build. He is responsible for everything after the drawings are done: the crew, the trades, the sequence, the money and the date.
He came to Canada from Brazil in 2017 with Nathalia and their first daughter. Before this he spent fifteen years running operations in manufacturing, at one point across teams of more than a hundred and twenty people. Construction is a different trade and the same problem. Somebody has to know what is arriving on Thursday and what it blocks if it does not.
He is one of the two principals named on the firm’s builder licence with Ontario’s Home Construction Regulatory Authority, which is the licence a company needs to build new homes in this province.
